   John 9:35-41 (Amplified Bible)

35Jesus heard that they had put him out, and meeting him He said, Do you believe in and adhere to the Son of Man or the Son of God ?

36He answered, Who is He, Sir? Tell me, that I may believe in and adhere to Him.

37Jesus said to him, You have seen Him; [in fact] He is talking to you right now.

38He called out, Lord, I believe! [I rely on, I trust, I cleave to You!] And he worshiped Him.

39Then Jesus said, I came into this world for judgment [as a Separator, in order that there may be separation between those who believe on Me and those who reject Me], to make the sightless see and to make those who see become blind.

40Some Pharisees who were near, hearing this remark, said to Him, Are we also blind?

41Jesus said to them, If you were blind, you would have no sin; but because you now claim to have sight, your sin remains. [If you were blind, you would not be guilty of sin; but because you insist, We do see clearly, you are unable to escape your guilt.]

Right when we need Him.  Right when we think that we can’t go on.  Right when the world seems to be falling apart.  Jesus appears (He is always there, but He makes sure we know that He is there.) and He asks, “Do you believe in and adhere to the Son of Man or the Son of God?”  And as His Children, we respond with Peter, “Oh, Yes, Lord!  I believe and am sure that You are the Christ, The Son of God.  Help me, Lord…”

Cleave to Him, Child of God.  It is not His Will for us to be so stressed that we cannot function.  It is not His Will for us to be immobilized by fear, worry, sickness, anger, unforgiveness, persecution, and other forms of spiritual warfare.

It is His Will to take our burdens…

    Matthew 11:28-30 (HCSB)
28 “Come to Me, all of you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.
29 All of you, take up My yoke and learn from Me, because I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for yourselves.
30 For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”

If you are feeling overburdened and overly weary, then you need to stop and take time with the Savior – the burden bearer.  Let Him carry your burdens.  Let Jesus give you rest and peace and joy; for these are the Fruit of the Spirit.  These are His Will for you.

**Lord Jesus, Here am I – burdened – This is what is troubling me….
