The ways of Scripture are diametrically opposed to our human thoughts and wills: To save your life, you lose it.    To gain everything, you give up everything. To be strong, you submit to God.               To be a leader, you become like a little child. Regardless of what I think of God’s ways, they are God’s ways; and they are to be obeyed.  We don’t follow a pick-and-choose philosophy; we follow the Almighty God of the Universe Who knows all things and is wiser than we could ever imagine.
